There is no shortage of gourmet establishments and different world cuisines in Santo Domingo, the vibrant capital of the Dominican Republic. One place where you can discover different cuisines under the same roof is TableHood. And they recently opened their second location in San Isidro, Santo Domingo Este. It's definitely worth a visit! We'll tell you why you need to pass by during your next visit to the area.

It's a big world out there. Go and explore!

The area of San Isidro

Located in the eastern part of the capital, you will find the district "San Isidro", mainly known for its air base and nowadays also for all the new construction projects.

For example, new house projects can be found there for as little as $120,000, and more and more chains and medical centers are opening their doors there. So it is growing enormously and ensures that locals do not have to travel to the busy city center every time to do their shopping or find what they are looking for.

The most recent project that opened its doors a few months ago is Metro Plaza. Their very first location was right in Distrito Nacional (Charles Summer), the city center and now they opened their second location in San Isidro with stores such as Aliss and Casa Cuesta, Miniso, Valentine Icecream and many more. You can even find a Starbucks (the first in Santo Domingo Este!) and the delicious restaurants under the "TableHood" concept. And we are going to highlight these restaurants in more detail.

Pronto, Italian Pasta

Dominicans are lovers of pasta! But tourists can certainly appreciate Italian cuisine as well. Therefore, it is normal that Pronto Pasta is enormously successful and we are very happy to visit such a good pasta restaurant in the eastern part of Santo Domingo.

When you enter TableHood, Pronto's booth will immediately surprise you. Fresh for you they make delicious pasta. From "La Toscana" with Alfredo sauce to a classic Carbonara, pasta with scampi and even pesto: it's all possible!

Ground Burger

Are you more of a lover of a flavorful burger? Then "Ground Burger" is without a doubt your favorite stand at TableHood. To the right of Pronto Pasta, you can order Santo Domingo's tastiest burgers there.

They have flavors like:

- Hot Chick

- The Legend with jalapenos

- Classic Smash, their signature burger

- Mush Swiss with Swiss cheese and mushrooms

- Truffle Honey Chick

- Rib Eye Philly Steak

They also offer fries with parmesan cheese and truffle oil, delicious onion rings and their bread is made from potatoes. Super delicious!

Green Bowl salads

Would you rather choose a healthier option? Do you follow a KETO diet or do you like fresh salads? At Green Bowl you can find wraps and salads brimming with flavor!

Order the classics like Caesar Salad or Chicked Honey Mustard, or choose your own wrap with tuna, onion, avocado, ranch sauce and eggs. This, by the way, is our favorite when we eat at Green Bowl. Everything put together in their spinach wrap makes it the perfect healthy lunch for an afternoon full of energy!

In addition to their salads and wraps, Green Bowl is also known for their own fresh juices: also available without sugars!
